Our Charities

Kids, Community and Volunteers. Trumbull Hall Troupe runs on the efforts of volunteers. Our goal is to provide fun theatre experiences for our teens and to contribute to the community with the funds raised by our performances.  When you pay for tickets with a check you will be asked to make your check out to the supported charity of your choice. Our charities may vary each year but our core charities are:

The Zienzele Foundation

  • Traditionally, orphans in Africa have been taken in by relatives or neighbors. This tradition broke down in Zimbabwe because of increasing poverty and the deaths of many caregivers due to HIV-AIDS. The Zienzele Foundation was established in 2000 in response to the growing crisis. Building on tradition, they help villages achieve self-reliance and care for orphans themselves.

Upper Valley Haven

  • The Upper Valley Haven has provided temporary shelter and educational programming for homeless families and adults as well as food and clothing to anyone in need. The Haven has fostered independence through our Shelter Advocacy, Aftercare, Outreach and Education Programs. The Haven is open 365 days per year and never charges for any of its services. We serve over 6,800 people per year.

Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD)

  • As New Hampshire’s only comprehensive, full-service children’s hospital, the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD) provides an extended system of care that offers advanced pediatric services. CHaD was recognized in 1992 as a “children’s hospital within a hospital” by the Children’s Hospital Association. CHaD is one of 205 children’s hospitals in the United States providing care specifically focused on children.
